Rosso DOC Lison-Pramaggiore
Lison-Pramaggiore Eastern Veneto (near Venice).
Merlot 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon 40%, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso 10%
Flat well drained ground, with dolomitic limestone and clay texture. Sylvoz style of pruning with an average density of 3,100 vines/ha.
Vinification in red with selected yeasts. Macerated at 25-28°C for 15-20 days, until it reaches the desired colour. The wine is refined in oak barrels for about 18-20 months and then aged for at least 6 months in a bottle.
It is a ruby red wine with violet shades which denote the young age. It gives a strong and lasting impression on the palate as well as being soft. It has a strong and intense aftertaste with a marked alcoholic component and a strong scent of ripe fruits.
BEST SERVED WITH
Its strong tannins make it ideal for pasta with mushrooms, grilled meats, game and mature cheeses. It should be poured into a decanter and left to rest for at least one hour, bringing it to a temperature of 20°C and then served in large wine glasses for prestigious occasions.
Keep bottles stored in a cool, dry place away from light, where possible horizontally.
