VINEYARD

Flat well drained ground, with dolomitic limestone and clay texture. Sylvoz style of pruning with a density of 2,600 vines/ha.

VINIFICATION TECHNIQUES

Selected grapes are left on the vines to mature longer to increase the sugar concentration before harvesting. After a short cold maceration (18-24 hours) at 10°C, the skins are separated from the must with soft pressing and then the fermentation starts at a temperature of 15-16°C with selected yeasts for 12-15 days.

TASTING NOTES

Golden yellow in colour it has a sweet delicate bouquet with slight vanilla overtones. The flavour is dense and rich with hints of dried fruit especially apricots.

BEST SERVED WITH

An ideal wine to go with dessert, especially pastries and biscuits. Great accompaniment to mild or blue cheese. To be served at a temperature of 10-12°C in small dessert glasses.

Keep bottles stored in a cool, dry place away from light, where possible horizontally.

Merlot 100%

VINEYARD

Flat well drained ground, with dolomitic limestone and clay texture. Sylvoz style of pruning with an average density of 3,000 vines/ha.

VINIFICATION TECHNIQUES

Vinification in red with selected yeasts. Macerated at 25-28°C for 15-18 days, until it reaches the desired colour. The wine is refined in oak barrels for about 10-12 months and then aged for at least 6 months in a bottle.

TASTING NOTES

This wine is a deep red colour with garnet hues, remarkable scent with a slight bouquet of wood. It is dry in taste, soft and austere.

BEST SERVED WITH

Beautiful accompaniament to roasted red meats, game and grilled meats. To be served at a temperature of 20°C in large glasses for important red wine.

Accompanies roasts and game nicely and when taken alone, prolongs the enjoyment of a meal at the table. To be served at a temperature of 20°C in large wine glasses for prestigious occasions.
